Mod manager download for vortex not showing up

So I'm trying to install a few mods thru NMM and they're not showing up in game. My Fallout4Custom.ini never showed up, so I created a file for it, but they're still not working. I just got the game the other day, any suggestions? Thanks Quoting my post regarding Vortex in a past thread: I can't speak on behalf of MO2. It does not mean that someone couldn't craft a plugin for Vortex, which allows free storing. Official releases just will not be including or directly supporting the feature. I am personally sticking with Mod Organizer 2. In order to pick the version of the mod that you want, click on the “Files” tab on the mod page to show the various main files: Once you have decided on the version you want, click the “Mod Manager Download” button on that file. This will ensure that Vortex downloads the right file for you. Apart from that, the mod installs the same way

I am not manually uncompressing the file. I downloaded it directly to Vortex from the Nexus site using the Mod Manager Download button. I only have the second log because I did manually uncompress it and put it there out of frustration for a single try. Then I went back to doing it directly from Vortex.

I've been having a lot of trouble with the Nexus Mod Manager lately, after over a year of using it extensively with no issue. I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with this.
